Supporting Puerto Rico After Hurricane Maria

Puerto Rico has been devastated by recent Hurricane Maria. In addition to damage to the built environment, power outages, a shortage of clean drinking water and limited access to health care, the disaster has been amplified by critical environmental justice issues in the U.S. territory, and issues with control of toxic releases from the island's 23 Superfund sites and coal ash piles.... Help Rebuild Mexico

This past month, a large earthquake devistated central Mexico. The Mexican community in the Greater Boston Area is collaborating to help rebuild Mexico after the recent community. The community represents students at Babson, Boston University, Berklee College of Music, Harvard, Hult, MIT, Northeastern University, Suffolk, and others. The Harvard Extension Student Environmental Club (HESEC) is a student-run organization that unites Harvard Extension School students passionate about environmental and sustainability issues. The goal of HESEC is to create opportunities for personal, academic, and professional development of its members, through club socials, Green Exchanges, eco-tours, panel discussions, and various networking and volunteering opportunities.
