Call for applications for the new HES3C Board for 2024/2025 are open now!

April 1-12 is the "Call for Applications" period for any non-graduating HES degree candidates to apply to run for a leadership position in our student organization. We invite you to learn more about leading our organization next year! Please visit our website to learn more. You can also review the information on the OSA Website or send an email to elections@extension.harvard.edu for questions or clarification about the elections process.

The following positions are open for application:

  • President
  • Vice-president
  • Director of Event Management
  • Director of Internal Communications
  • Director of Digital Marketing
  • Director of Local Affairs (Boston-based)
  • Director of Professional Development

Additionally, we are happy to announce that current Director of International Affairs (Jocelyn Phi) and Director of Community Engagement (Alexia Freeman) will remain in their positions for the next board. Many thanks for your continued support to the HES3C community.

 

Please also keep in mind the "Call for Applications" submission requirements:

  • A Statement of Purpose (no more than 300 words)
  • A headshot (minimum 400 x 400 pixels)
  • A current resume
  • A copy of your current unofficial transcript
  • A photo of receipts documenting campaign expenses, if applicable (to ensure that expenses do not exceed the $150 campaign spending limit)
  • A link to a 3-minute (or less) video wherein you introduce yourself and address the questions below. Please note we are unable to accept or approve any videos longer than 3 minutes.
    • Why are you running?
    • Do you have previous board or volunteer service experience?
    • What has been your biggest contribution to the HES community beyond the classroom?
    • What leadership strengths and skills do you bring to the role?
    • If elected, what is the top goal you hope to accomplish during your term?

Note that only degree candidates planning to enroll in courses for the upcoming academic year should apply for a leadership position. We wish you all the best with the upcoming election process!
